Flotation tank
The flotation tank is used to separate materials based on their densities. The material is inserted into a bath with a certain density.
The heavy materials will sink and are lifted from the bath through transportation screws or a conveyor belt. The light materials will stay afloat and will be extracted from the bath through scrapers at the surface.
